Abingdon Walking Festival

Menu of Walks for Saturday 11th May

The Abingdon Walking Festival offers a range of walks to do on the day, all leaving from the Market Place. Most of them will run concurrently. All walks should be back at the Market Place by mid afternoon so that you can have a look at the stalls and talk to the groups represented at the festival before it all ends at 4pm.

Walks are free, but for insurance purposes we do need some details from you in advance. Please register for walks by clicking on the link at the bottom of the walk description. All Ramblers Walks carry a grade which is explained at the base of this webpage.

There are also Abingdon Community Walks - try one on the day if you are not sure, or come along to one of their Monday sessions. (See walk 6 below)

Ramblers Walks
Walks 1-5 will be led by a Walk Leader from The Ramblers
Walks 6 & 7 will be led by a Walk Leader from the Community Walks programme
Advance registrations are now closed as the walk lists need to be sent to the walk leaders. For most of the walks there is still the possibility of joining by coming to the Market Place at least quarter of an hour before the departure time. (Walk 3 is presently fully booked.)
