Our Plot to Plate Community Festival will celebrate growing, cooking and eating vegetables. It is a chance to try new recipes, learn new growing tips, improve your cooking skills and consider rebalancing your diet. Cooking recipes with higher vegetable content is a great way to stretch the family budget and bring healthier options to your table and the savings are increased if you grow your own, as well as creating a stress-busting family activity across all ages.
Plot to Plate will include fun activities for families as well as the classes, talks and tastings focused on vegetable growing, cooking and eating. The organisers want to create an event that is fun and light-hearted even though the things you can learn while you are there could have a big impact on your life and health and the planet.
